# Directions:

03 - In a separate medium bowl, combine the diced tomato, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Stir thoroughly to incorporate all ingredients.
04 - Transfer the guacamole to a serving bowl and spread evenly. Spoon the pico de gallo over the top as a garnish.
05 - Serve immediately with tortilla chips, fresh vegetable crudités, or use as a topping for tacos, burritos, and nachos.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The creamy avocado base gets this incredible brightness from fresh lime that cuts right through
  • Topping it with pico de gallo adds this crunch and freshness that makes every bite exciting
02 -
  • Leaving the avocado pit in the guacamole doesn't actually prevent browning, that's a myth
  • Pressing plastic wrap directly onto the surface is the only thing that really works for storage
03 -
  • Make the pico de gallo first and let it sit while you prep everything else
  • Taste as you go—some avocados need more salt, some limes are more acidic
