Mango Cucumber Smoothie (Print Version)

Sweet mango and crisp cucumber blended into a refreshing, hydrating drink ready in minutes.

# What You Need:

→ Fruit & Vegetables

01 - 1 large ripe mango, peeled and diced
02 - 1 small cucumber, peeled and chopped

→ Liquids

03 - 1 cup coconut water or plain water
04 - 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

→ Optional Add-ins

05 - 1 teaspoon honey or agave syrup (optional, to taste)
06 - 4–6 fresh mint leaves (optional)
07 - Ice cubes (optional, for serving)

# Directions:

01 - Place the diced mango, chopped cucumber, coconut water (or plain water), and fresh lime juice into the blender jar.
02 - If using honey or agave syrup and fresh mint leaves, add them to the blender. Secure the lid and blend on high until completely smooth and no chunks remain.
03 - Pause the blender and taste the mixture. Adjust sweetness by adding more honey or agave syrup if desired, then blend briefly to incorporate.
04 - Add ice cubes to the blender if a colder, thicker consistency is preferred. Pulse a few times until the ice is crushed and evenly distributed.
05 - Pour the smoothie into glasses immediately and serve fresh. Garnish with a cucumber slice or mint sprig if desired.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It tastes like vacation in a glass, tropical and light, without any heavy ingredients weighing you down afterward.
  • The hydration from coconut water and cucumber makes it smarter than any store bought drink, and you control every single thing that goes in.
02 -
  • Blending too long can actually warm the smoothie slightly from the motor heat, so stick to about sixty seconds and add ice afterward if needed.
  • A frozen banana half transforms the texture into something closer to a milkshake, which I discovered by accident on a day I had leftover smoothie prep in the freezer.
03 -
  • Freeze your diced mango on a sheet tray first before bagging it up, so the pieces stay separate and blend evenly rather than clumping into one solid mass.
  • A tiny pinch of salt, just a few grains, enhances the mango flavor in a way that will make you wonder where this trick has been your whole life.
