# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The magic happens in the oven as the cake mix transforms into a buttery, golden crust without any mixing bowls or complicated technique
  • It feeds a crowd with minimal effort and somehow tastes even better the next day when the flavors have had time to become friends
02 -
  • The butter will pool in some spots and not fully coat others, this is completely normal and the steam created helps bake the cake layer
  • Test for doneness by looking at the edges, they should be bubbling and pulling slightly away from the sides of the dish
03 -
  • Place a baking sheet on the rack below the cake to catch any butter drips and save your oven from a smoking mess
  • If the top browns too quickly, tent loosely with foil for the last 10 minutes of baking time
